The anatomy of a dream: can dreams come true?

The anatomy of a dream: can dreams come true?

Do dreams have a chance to come true? If so, how?

Sometimes, I’ve been so caught up with life that I didn’t know the purpose of dreaming. Or even, what was the use of dreaming!

Have you ever experienced such despair around a dream that you thought you were just being a pig-headed idiot?

Kristina and our guest have had many challenging experiences with their dreams and manifestation, as you can see in today’s interview (video link)!

Despite all the difficulties, they found dreams valuable when living a more fulfilling life. They also found a path to keep manifesting them and transforming our reality, even when that turns out to be different than we imagined!

So, who is our guest?

Amber Lilystrom, business mentor, branding expert, author, and speaker. Her work has been featured by Forbes, Entrepreneur, Mindvalley, and Working Mother Magazine. She is the host of The Amber Lilyestrom Show podcast and author of the books Master Your Money Mind and Paddle Home

She manifested many dreams in her career and life! But she also lived through trauma and interruptions in her dreams.

Our most significant dreams trigger a lot of emotions. All the feelings that come with those dreams can make us flicker, mainly if you lived through trauma. Challengingly, it can happen with those most meaningful dreams, such as having children.

If your big dream gets interrupted, you can say, ” WHAT??? ” for a while. Have you ever experienced that? Amber calls that interruptions.

Like when we are pregnant, and it’s developing, everything is going well, and then… an interruption comes.

Interruptions can be traumatic, but Amber says they serve our dreams, informing us that something needs to change.

To not feel interruptions as a final thing, Amber tells us that interruptions test your dream and tell you information.

However, our guest today says that if a dream shows up for us, it is FOR us, which gives us the soothing feeling of being guided on our path.

But then, when seemingly everything failed, how do you turn that into a goal and start again?

Amber says that our dreams are our guides. Like the lighthouse that flickers in the loneliness.

The goals have more to do with the activation inside of you of the things you need to achieve that goal. So, for example, if we are talking about a professional goal, it would be your skillset, experience, drive, motivation, etc.

The activation of those personal capacities organized in time would be the PLAN.

Sometimes, we don’t know how to activate those capacities or plan this manifestation. That is, to be stuck in the HOW!

Have you ever been stuck in the HOW? and it doesn’t come to you, no matter what you think, do, plan or say? Personally, I’ve been there many times! No answer seems to be coming, and you start getting anxious!

Amber gives us some TIPS on what to do in this situation:

  • Believe in miracles. Some things are pretty miraculous and happen daily, and we don’t realize it.
  • We lose playfulness. Approach this how with curiosity and play!
  • When you start dreaming, first, some invitations happen. The invitations are the first signs of the manifestation of your dreams. Invitations could be as simple as Instagram publicity nowadays!
  • Meditate on the invitations and signs to see what happens, if that is the right decision.
  • After that, if we take the invitation, we develop it, and then, we have initiation into the dream. After the initiations, we might feel we have already accomplished the dream: is this it? We think!
  • Live into the fullness of who you are, and don’t get attached to the deep form of our dreams. We all want that castle, right? Dreams are the guides to keep moving forward, but we’re all going to need to eat again, and it’s impossible to eat the perfect meal once or all the time.

Then, interruptions might happen. At this point, you need to trust that it’s a change of way and redirect your dream in another way.

It’s like playing snakes and ladders: you might have found a snake that puts you to ground 0 after what you considered a win, but you can bounce back and redirect yourself to a bigger (automated!) staircase!

You need to allow healing time. We dreamers, entrepreneurs,… society generally doesn’t usually allow for time to heal or compassion towards ourselves. Sometimes, we are our biggest roadblock sometimes because we have that go-getter personality!

We have to live our best selves at any given moment and try to do our best with the resources we have been given at each time, as we all try to do. In short, maximize the present moment!

Leading your dreams with less judgment will give you a more fulfilling life. You can enter that fullness when your business is aligned with what your soul can experience!

One of my favorite questions in the interview was about all these unknown dreams! Have you experienced that? Along with confusion about who you are?

Then, you need to look for inspiration. What do you like to read or think? What makes you and become inspired?

Those can be sources of inspiration for really great dreams!

Dreams are reminders of who you are, who you can be, and your contribution to the world. And remember, if it’s YOUR dream, it is FOR you

It’s always worth taking the chance to see where it leads!
